Centres d'apprentissage -Le printemps // Spring Literacy Centres (French)
Are you looking for some simple and engaging literacy centres for your classroom? These 6 Spring centres are GREAT additions to primary French immersion and francophone classrooms.
These centres work on vocabulary, spelling, reading and writing skills. There are 20 Printemps Vocabulary words!
The 6 activities included are:
CHASSE AUX TRÉSORS (Scavenger Hunt) Students will look around the school (or in the classroom) for pictures on the list that are hidden on the walls.
LIS ET COLORIE (Read and Colour) Students will read the words or sentences on a card and colour the picture (There are two levels: 4 vocabulary words only & 4 Full sentences cards)
ÉCRIS ET COLORIE (Write and Colour) – Students will write the words or sentences of their choice, then they will colour the picture.
ÉCRIS LA SALLE (Write the Room)- students will look for Nature objects around the room and write the names of them on their recording sheet (3 pages x 10 words)
MOTS CACHÉS (Word searches) – Students will search for vocabulary words (3 pages x 10 words)
INCITATION À L’ÉCRITURE (Picture Writing Prompts) – Students will use the colourful word bank images to write sentences using the Sentence starter cards. (3 pages x 10 words)
If you print the vocabulary words cards twice, Early Finishers can use them to play Où est Moustache?, memory games, tapette à mouches, etc.
